Recognition of United States tax exempt status as a 501(c3) organisation has now received by the Friends of the John William Education Center. The organisation is dedicated to supporting our school as well as developing the HIV/AIDS awareness program and the Conflict Resolution Programmes which we host.

July 2002

Sophos has kindly donated to us a license for the use of their superior anti-virus software. This is most helpful in testing donated machines before we send them to Ghana.

July 2002

We are nearing completion of our third building. This will provide a larger library, science labs, an indoor assembly room, more living quarters for volunteer staff, several classrooms and a space on the roof for a satellite dish.

August 2002

Thanks to our active and most supportive Parent Teacher Association, we now have an air conditioner in our computer room and will soon have a new blackboard for it.

August 2002

Various parts of about fifteen computers have been donated to our school by Butler Larsen Pierce and Company, Inc.These parts will be helpful in replacing those lost in the storm.
