What we need

Solar Electric power

A dependable power supply will save us the cost of replacing computer components which are damaged by fluctuations in power.

We estimate we can cut our energy consumption by 30% if we use a 12-Volt system for our computer equipment rather than an array of converters.

Money for the cost of shipments.

We ship a forty foot container of donations once or twice a year, depending upon when we have collected sufficient donations. Each shipment costs about $8000.00

Story books for children.

We allow children to take books home from our school library, the books are heavily used and require continuous replacement.

Posters to decorate our walls

Coloring books for children and crayons

Computers

(with hard drives and Ethernet ports for networking)

(if they are more than two years old it is cheaper for us to buy them in Ghana)

We have a special need for laptops, preferably able to connect wirelessly

and we need Fibre Channel Cables

Toys and games for playing inside.

This includes baseballs, tennis balls, basketballs, soccer (foot) balls.

Any game not requiring batteries is welcome.

Educational Computer games and software

Those for UNIX are especially welcome.

Those for old versions of Windows are OK as are those for the Mac

Science Equipment

Our Science laboratories need supplies for Veterinary, Biomedical, Chemical and Physical Sciences
