Eligibility
John William Montessori School (JWMS) warmly welcomes students from all backgrounds. Admission is open to children who meet the school’s academic, behavioral, and age requirements. Our goal is to ensure that every child is placed in the right environment to support their growth and development.
Application & Assessment
The admissions journey begins with parents completing and submitting the official JWMS application form. For children in Crèche and Nursery (ages 0–4), no formal assessment is required. Placement is based on age and a parental interview, ensuring that the youngest learners are introduced to school life in a nurturing way.
For Kindergarten, Primary, and Junior High School (ages 4+), the school conducts an academic and developmental readiness test. This assessment helps us understand each child’s strengths and needs, guiding us in placing them where they will flourish. While age serves as a general guideline, final placement decisions are made based on assessment results and the approval of the Head of School.
Admission Offer & Enrollment
Successful applicants receive an official admission letter from JWMS. Parents then confirm their child’s place by signing the acceptance form and paying the admission fee. This step secures enrollment and marks the beginning of the child’s journey with us.
Why JWMS?
Our admissions process is designed to be clear, supportive, and inclusive. We value readiness and potential over rigid age brackets, ensuring that each child is placed thoughtfully. With professional oversight and personalized attention, JWMS provides a strong foundation for lifelong learning.
